Harrison Taylor: The Marshal Who Found Home at the Lazy L

Harrison Taylor has spent much of his adult life moving from one place to another, never quite putting down roots. A Kentuckian by birth, he carries the unmistakable drawl of Trapman County and the complicated legacy of the Taylor family with him wherever he goes. He has little use for his half-brother Jason and even less patience for anyone who assumes that sharing a surname means sharing the same character.

When Harrison rides into Wyoming Territory in 1875, he is a newly appointed federal marshal with a reputation for getting the job done. He also has a handwritten deed in his saddlebags giving him ownership of half the Lazy L Ranch. What he doesn't expect is to be greeted by a young woman standing in the shadows of the porch with a shotgun — and absolutely no intention of letting him set foot on her property.
