Fewer than 15 pages total of actually being on the page, yet Daniel Judge's shadow looms over the whole of the Iron Oath Sentinels series.

When I first started brainstorming the idea for this series with my critique partner and writing buddy, we both agreed Daniel should have minimal page time. Originally, just because I needed a placeholder, I put Snidley Whiplash in as Daniel's stand-in. Daniel very quickly asserted he wasn't cardboard and his presence would not be denied.

Twenty-three pages of backstory for Daniel and I had the driving force behind each of the stories in the Iron Oath Sentinels series—and it wasn't the kind of force to be ignored.
